I currently live in Portland, Oregon. I am working towards by Bachelors in Graphic Design, which I hope to turn into a Master Degree someday. A friend of mine has almost convinced me to get my Doctorate degree, then I could introduce myself as Dr. Wyqued, LOL. I have yet to find a doctoral program in Graphic Design, Web Design, or Web Media, but I’m still looking.
I have also been taking quite a few classes at Clackamas Community College that count toward an Associate Degree in Web Design and Development. I’m not sure if I will pursue that degree, however, because most the classes I am taking in that field are just to update my current skills. I have been designing web sites and pages for the last 10 years, and decided to do something with that talent and passion by pursuing various degrees in the field.
I feel that any project opportunity is a learning one, so while I am furthering my studies, I open myself to clients so that I can gain the hands on experience that is needed to become a truly great designer and developer.
